Gohda’s research group has been focusing on the development of novel therapeutic approaches to fight enveloped viruses causing infectious diseases:- Development of membrane fusion inhibitors for enveloped viruses such as coronavirus, flavivirus and HIV-1.
- Development of therapeutic strategies against latent HIV-1 infection.
- Development of inhibitors of HIV-1 and HSV viral particle release.
